Bhopal: Since the law implemented against Love Jihad 23 days ago in Madhya Pradesh, 23 cases have been registered so far. State Home Minister Narottam Mishra said that under the new anti-conversion ordinance implemented in the month of January, the maximum number of cases have been registered in the capital so far.

It is to be known that in the month of January, the Madhya Pradesh government had announced to implement the Religious Freedom Ordinance 2020 to stop conversion.
Under this, a provision of strict punishment has been made for conversion for marriage by intimidation, coercion, lying and cheating. In some cases a provision of 10 years jail sentence has also been made under this law.
