Meanwhile, on Wednesday, December 30, the central government has invited farmers’ organizations to Vigyan Bhawan in Delhi for talks.
Pawar-Manmohan could stand under pressure
Here, Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar lashed out at the opposition for opposing the new agricultural laws. He said- Manmohan Singh and Sharad Pawar wanted to bring agricultural legislation during UPA government, but could not take a stand on it due to pressure and influence.

The Agriculture Minister said- I am confident that with your help, positive attitude and understanding these laws will be implemented and we will be able to convince the farmers about it. A new road will be built and India’s agriculture will be prosperous.
