Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar called the signature handed over to President Ramnath Kovind by the Congress delegation led by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi against the new agrarian reform laws. The Agriculture Minister said on Thursday that whatever Rahul Gandhi says, Congress does not take it seriously.
Narendra Tomar said- Today when Rahul Gandhi went to the President to register his protest against the signature, these farmers told me that no one from Congress came to take our signature.
The Union Agriculture Minister further said – If Rahul Gandhi was so worried, then he should have done something for the farmers when he was in power.
Along with this, after a meeting with the members of the 60-member Kisan Mazdoor Sangh from Baghpat, Narendra Tomar said – The farmers from Bagat have given their letters of support on the Central Agricultural Laws. He said that the government should not come under any pressure to amend the agricultural bill.
