Lucknow: Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav has targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday for the election of the Legislative Council.
He claimed that if there is a vote in the council elections, then the Bharatiya Janata Party MLAs are ready to ‘run away’ (cross voting). Akhilesh Yadav, who went on a tour of Shravasti, said, “I do not know how many candidates have filed the form right now, but if there is a vote in the election, the Bharatiya Janata Party will have to respect its MLAs. Their MLAs are ready to run, because they (MLAs) know that the ticket of many will be cut in 2022. ”
For this election, 10 candidates of Bharatiya Janata Party and two candidates of Samajwadi Party have filed nomination papers.
On the last day of nomination, Mahesh Chandra Sharma has increased the thrill of the election by nominating him as an independent candidate.
On the issue of farmers, Yadav said that ask BJP where to get the MSP of paddy, please also tell a place. Yadav, while replying to the question of journalists, said that in the 2022 assembly elections, the Samajwadi Party will contest elections on its own, but will keep the scope and open the way for smaller parties.
On the question of agreement with the Progressive Samajwadi Party (Lohia) president and his uncle Shivpal Singh Yadav, Yadav said, “I stand by my old point.” The way is open for him (Shivpal) too and if there is a candidate to win other than him, he will also give him a chance and consider it, ”he said.
