Patna: In Bihar, all educational institutions including schools, colleges, universities have opened since Monday. After the outbreak of the Corona epidemic, all educational institutions in the state were closed about nine months ago.
However, it has been decided to open educational institutions in the state due to reduction in the number of new cases of corona virus and the recovery rate is 97.61 percent. In such a situation, once again the brightness of educational institutions has returned.
Here, Sanjay Kumar, Principal Secretary, Education Department, has made it clear on Sunday that classes will be conducted with half of the total students and other guidelines of corona virus will have to be strictly followed.
Sanjay Kumar said, “It is mandatory for all students to wear masks in the school premises, without which they will not be allowed to enter the campus.” In addition, classes from nine to 12 will be conducted with 50 percent attendance to ensure adherence to the social distance law in classes. “
He said that the institute management will ensure sanitation of its campuses. School officials will note that if a student is suffering from fever or there are no symptoms of the virus in it.
The Principal Secretary has said that after reviewing the situation for 15 days, it will take further decision on 18 January.
According to the Bulletin of the Health Department, a total of 2,53,651 cases of covid-19 have been reported in the state till Saturday, in which 2,47,579 people have been cured.
With this, the recovery rate in the state has been 97.61 percent. The bulletin states that the number of patients under treatment of covid-19 in the state is 4669, while the number of dead is 1403.
