BJP got a shock in Tripura
Actually, the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) elections in Tripura were originally scheduled to be held on May 17 last year, but it was stopped due to Corona infection. At the same time, Pradyot Manikya Deb Burman, who was the state president of Congress in Tripura, has formed the Tripura Indigenous People’s Regional Alliance (TIPRA) with the ruling coalition’s party Indigenous People’s Front of Tripura (IPFT).
IPFT with Manikya Deb Burman
Now this alliance is going to contest TTAADC under Pradyot Manikya Deb Burman. 42-year-old Pradyot Manikya has officially announced on Friday that the Tipperland State Party and IPFT (Tipra) have merged into the Tripura Indigenous People’s Regional Alliance (TIPRA).
At present, almost all the major tribal political parties of the state have decided to form an alliance with TIPRA. Due to which the ruling BJP is seen to be suffering a lot. Along with this, some tribal political parties have also merged with the new organization. However the IPFT has not withdrawn the support of Biplab Deb-led BJP government in the state.
Deb Burman has been Congress state president
Please tell that Pradyot Manikya Deb Burman has been the first Tripura Pradesh President of Congress. He left the party over differences with the party on issues of the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and the National Civil Register (NRC).
