Corona in Delhi: 654 new cases surfaced on Wednesday, 16 patients died

In the capital Delhi, 654 new cases of corona have been reported on Wednesday, while 16 patients have died. The positivity rate is 0.88 percent. With this, the total number of infections in Delhi has now reached 6.28 lakhs, while 10,625 deaths have been done.

It is known that there were 442 cases in Delhi on Tuesday and the positivity rate was 0.55 percent. On Saturday, Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain tweeted that the capital’s positivity rate has been less than one percent for the last 11 days and the number of new cases of infection has also been the lowest since May 17.

He said that from 21 to 23 December, the number of daily cases of Corona ranged from 1000. However, on 10 December, corona infection was found in 1063 patients, which decreased to 758 on 25 December. In these cases, the decline was also recorded on 26 December. 655 cases of corona were reported that day in Delhi.

In the last 24 hours 74,650 corona tests were conducted in Delhi, including 39,623 RTPCR and 35,027 rapid antigen tests. The result was that today corona was confirmed in 654 patients.

At the same time, the number of active cases of corona in Delhi has come down to 4481, which was 4562 till yesterday. With this, the total number of corona patients in Delhi has reached 6,28,352.
