According to the Maharashtra Cyber Police, as soon as you click on that link and go to fill the copyright objections form, that link takes you to another website which looks exactly like Instagram.
Cyber expert Yasir Sheikh said that the URL of that page is never in dot (.) COM but in dot (.) CF. This page looks so real that users have no idea that it is a fake Instagram page.
Your account gets hacked as soon as you login
You are also asked to login on this fake Instagram page. But as soon as you login on it your user ID and password as well as control of your Instagram goes to the hackers.They said that the hackers demanded US $ 5000 from one Victim and 3000 US dollars from the other to give back control of the hacked account. The hacker had asked for the demand of these money in the form of bit coins.
Maharashtra cyber police advised people to be careful
Anand Dhoble is an Instagram user and he too has fallen victim to this scam. He says that a few days ago he posted a post on his Instagram, after which he received a DM (direct message) and did not recognize the hacker and shared all that information with him, after which the hacker took control of his account.
