Dal Lake became a cricket pitch in the harsh winter, children enjoyed the fun

The whole of North India is cold due to winter, due to this, heavy snowfall occurred on the mountains. In Srinagar, the mercury fell so much that Dal Lake froze. A video has emerged of children playing cricket on the frozen lake.

Srinagar: Dal Lake has frozen in the harsh winter of Srinagar. But the ice on Dal Lake is not so strong that it can go on. There is a danger of frozen ice on the lake. But amid this danger, a video has surfaced in which some boys are seen playing cricket on the frozen lake.

Which place of the video is not clear but some people say that the video has been taken this morning near the Dargah Hazratbal, where the water of the lake is of very low depth.

Along with this, in another video, some tourists were seen walking near Children’s Boating Pond near Chashmeshhi in Srinagar and near some Botanical Gardens. Boats for children run in this place in summer and this pond has been frozen due to cold at this time.

In Srinagar, the minimum mercury dropped to 7.8 on Wednesday and the eight-year-old cold record was broken. Due to the cold, Dal Lake has completely frozen. Earlier in 2012, there was such a cold and Dal Lake was frozen.

Due to this change in the weather, the entire Kashmir and Ladakh are getting cold. In Gulmarg, mercury has reached 9 and in Pahalgam, mercury has dropped to minus 11.
