Delhi Weather Update: Cold will increase further in the coming days, there is a possibility of rain

Delhi – NCR is freezing cold

Let us know that the cold in Delhi-NCR is making people cold, but the weather is clear. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature in Palam and Safdarjung in Delhi has been recorded at 9.4 degrees and 9.8 degrees respectively.

Shimla recorded a minimum temperature of 5.8 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 15.5 degrees Celsius. That is, the minimum temperature in Shimla was about one and a half degrees Celsius higher than Delhi.

Chance of rain in Delhi-NCR

According to the Meteorological Department, on 23 and 24 January it will be cloudy and there may be rain along with thunder. After the rains, the cold will increase more and there is a possibility of a drop in the maximum temperature along with the minimum temperature.

Will chill and persecute in the coming days

According to the Meteorological Department, a new western disturbance has been activated on Friday. Due to this, there will be snowfall in the hill states and there may be rain in the north and northwestern states. That is, the next two-three days will be colder and cold wave will also continue.

According to the weather department, due to snowfall in the mountainous areas, the cold winds will move due to which the temperature can drop by four degrees Celsius by Monday. But after Monday, the weather may turn again and the temperature may fall again.

Some relief from pollution due to continuous winds

At the same time, due to the continuous movement of air in Delhi-NCR, there is relief from pollution. According to meteorologists, the wind speed is 20-25 kilometers per hour.

At 12 places in the capital Delhi, the air quality index was above the 400 mark on Friday, ie in the severe category. On the other hand, the air quality index was 364 i.e. very poor category.
