Out of total 3034 wards in Rajasthan civic elections, Congress won in 1194 and BJP in 1146, Congress will not be able to form boards in bodies without BJP’s support.
Jaipur: In Rajasthan (Rajasthan), the Congress (Congress) has got majority in the local bodies election results. Out of 3034 wards, Congress won in 1194 while BJP (BJP) won in 1146.
Independent candidates won in 631 wards, meaning that without their support, the Congress board would not be able to form in the bodies. Voting for the chairman of the board will take place on 7 February. Only after this, it will be able to guess which party is moving towards the independents.
However, the Congress has claimed that it will be able to form 50 out of 90 board independents. In the results announced so far, the Congress has a clear majority in 19 and BJP in 24.
The BJP has won in Ajmer Municipal Corporation and the Congress has won for the first time in Rajsamand, where recently MLA Kiran Maheshwari died due to Covid.
