During the last hearing, the Division Bench of the High Court had summoned the reply of the UP Government in this matter. After summoning, the Yogi government filed its reply in the High Court. In this, it was said to be very important to bring the ordinance on behalf of the government.
Petition rejected from Supreme Court

Plea of petitioners
The ordinance has been declared unnecessary in the petitions. It has been said in the petitions that this is only for political gains. In this, a particular category can be targeted. The argument was also given that the ordinance is against the fundamental rights given to the people, so it should be repealed.
