Haridwar Kumbh 2021: Uttarakhand government will take help for security system and police

Trivendra Singh Rawat will ask Yogi Adityanath to provide 1000 policemen and 20 company PACs. On Wednesday, a meeting was organized by the Uttarakhand government regarding the arrangements for Kumbh Mela.

New Delhi: Uttarakhand government will take help of Uttar Pradesh for the availability of security arrangements, police and PAC jawans at Kumbh Mela to be held in Haridwar. After talking to Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will demand 1000 policemen and 20 company PACs. In Kumbh Mela, this arrangement will be necessary for the period of 5 to 15 April. The Chief Minister of Uttarakhand has also given instructions to complete all necessary arrangements in time, in view of Kovid-19.

On Wednesday, a meeting was organized by the Uttarakhand government regarding the arrangements of Kumbh Mela. In the meeting, the Chief Minister directed that attention should be given to the documentation along with issuing SOP of the arrangements to be executed at the departmental level in view of Kumbh. He also stressed the spread of widespread public awareness in this regard.

Trivendra Singh Rawat gave these instructions

Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has given instructions to ensure effective arrangements for the upcoming Kumbh fair. The Chief Minister has given clear instructions that effective implementation of all necessary approvals, quality and usefulness of works, etc. should be ensured promptly in relation to the works of Kumbh Mela.

The Chief Minister has asked all the concerned departments to complete all permanent construction works soon and to complete the temporary construction works by March 15. The Chief Minister has said that there should be no difficulty in completing the Kumbh works. Uttarakhand Director General of Police Ashok Kumar, Secretary Nitesh Jha and officials of the Mela Foundation were present in the high-level meeting called for the Kumbh Mela to be held in Haridwar.
