Prayagraj The Allahabad High Court has sought a response from the central and state government on the plea of three members of the PFI jailed on charges of conspiring to spread a riot in Hathras and treason.
The police had registered a case in several sections before his arrest. A division bench of Justice SP Kesarwani and Justice Shamim Ahmed has given the petition filed on behalf of Atikur Rahman of Muzaffarnagar, Masood of Bahraich and Alam of Rampur. Now the next hearing of the case will be on 27 January.
Challenge the order of magistrate
The petition challenged the order of the magistrate in which he has been sent on judicial remand. He has demanded his release from jail. They are alleged to have links with PFI student wing CFI (Campus Front of India).
