The government has agreed to give relief to those candidates who are dreaming of going to the higher administrative services of the country, who had given the last examination of UPSC last year but they could not succeed. The Central Government told in the Supreme Court on Friday that those who made the last attempt but left the age to take the exam could be given another chance.
On behalf of the Center, it has been said in the Supreme Court that people whose age has been exceeded, they cannot be given a new opportunity. Now the next hearing of this case will be held on Monday in the Supreme Court. The petition seeking another opportunity for the civil service candidates was being heard in the apex court, who had made the final attempt of the UPSC examination in October last year.

It is to be noted that usually the general category candidates are given 6 opportunities till the age of 32 for the UPSC Civil Services Examination. . Whereas, candidates of SC / ST class can participate in the examination as many times as they want till the age of 37 years.
