On the first day of 2021, ie on 1 January, the new gas rate was fixed. Under this, the 14.2 kg gas cylinder in Delhi was reduced to Rs 694, Rs 720. 50 in Kolkata, Rs 694 in Mumbai and Rs 710 in Chennai. Due to the rising prices of gas cylinders, there is a huge impact of inflation on people. Let me tell you that earlier on 15 December 2020, the price of 14.2 kg gas cylinder was increased.

Prices did not increase for five months

There was no increase in the price of LPG cylinders from July to mid-December of the year 2020. The price of the first domestic LPG cylinder was retained at Rs 594 per cylinder since July. This rate was similar to subsidized LPG cylinder. After being priced at Rs 594 per cylinder for five months, its price reached Rs 694 per cylinder in just 15 days.

This is how to book LPG gas

Now refill or booking of LPG cylinders can be done by just giving a missed call. Oil company Indian Oil has started a missed call facility to fill cylinders to its LPG customers.
