The Special Task Force of Indore in Madhya Pradesh has arrested two people cheating crores by passing NEET examination and cheating of admission in medical college. Crores of transactions have been found in both these bank accounts.
According to the information, STF has arrested Sachin Uttarkar (40) and Shankar Manwatkar (34) resident Vishwashans Sector 35 Khardhar (Navi Mumbai) from Mumbai. Saurabh Srivastava, another gang member, is lodged in Nabha Jail in Punjab in a similar case.
Transactions of more than 5.50 crores have been found in the bank accounts of the accused. According to Superintendent of Police, Manish Khatri, Ajay Kumar Jain of Indore had complained in January 2018 that the accused Shankar had asked for Rs 20 lakh to get his daughter admitted to Neet. Also, 11 lakh 50 thousand were taken into account and eight lakh cash.
Jain of Indore had said in the complaint that the accused Shankar had contacted her on phone and promised to get her daughter admitted to Neet. Then, after taking the information of 70 to 80 questions of NEET by taking fellow Sachin’s office in Indore, he had taken a separate amount in the name of getting the daughter’s admission in the government college.
