Shiv Sena has played Gujarati card before the elections in Mumbai. Today, a program was organized in Jogeshwari Hall in Mumbai to woo Gujarati voters. In which 100 traders of Gujarati society were present. The event was organized by Shiv Sena organizer Hemraj Shah.
Mumbai: The Mumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) election is still a year away, but before that the Shiv Sena has played the bugle. The Shiv Sena, which has ruled the BMC for two decades, once again wants to wave the saffron flag on the BMC for the year 2022, for which it has already started preparations.
After separating from the BJP, the Shiv Sena wants to win the municipal elections in any case. For which Shiv Sena has played Gujarati card before the elections in Mumbai. Gujarati society has a large dominance in Mumbai and is considered the core voter of the BJP. So to woo them, Shiv Sena is raising the slogan ‘Mumbai ma jalebi faafda uddhav thakare apada’.
Today, a program was organized in Jogeshwari Hall in Mumbai to woo Gujarati voters. In which 100 traders of Gujarati society were present. The event was organized by Shiv Sena organizer Hemraj Shah.
Some Shiv Sena workers and leaders also participated in the program. Hemraj, while addressing the passing voters, targeted the BJP fiercely. Hemraj lashed out at the BJP over the 1993 riots and said that Balasaheb Thackeray had come forward to help the society and the people when there was a riot in 1993. Then the BJP did nothing for the people.
The BJP has been using Gujarati voters for years. Today the business class is completely ruined due to demonetisation and GST. Today the condition of all the traders is gone. Businesses have collapsed. Due to which traders are very angry with BJP.
Hemraj says that the way the BJP has been winning the elections by luring Gujarati voters. This time, this will not happen in the General Election. The saffron flag will once again be hoisted in the Mumbai Mahapalika. This time the vote of Gujarati voters will go to Shiv Sena. And the relationship of Jalebi-Fafra and Vadapav will be further strengthened in the state.
Let me tell you that elections for the Mumbai Municipal Corporation are going to be held in a year. In such a situation, Gujarati class is a major part of Mumbai. Gujarati voters dominate the 50 to 52 seats out of the 227 seats in the Mahapalika. In such a situation, when the Shiv Sena is putting its full power to the election of the BJP, to dent the BJP’s vote.
