Pakistan often tried to infiltrate into India from the border areas of Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab, but this effort of Pakistan has always failed due to the vigilance of Indian security forces in these border areas. This year, Pakistan has tried to infiltrate its militants from the borders of Gujarat and Rajasthan to create unrest in India. This information came from data released by the Border Security Force (BSF).

According to the data released by BSF, in the year 2020, there has been an increase in the cases of infiltration of terrorists from Gujarat and Rajasthan border.

The special thing is that the BSF’s Kashmir Frontier has recorded only one incursion as compared to last year, where there were 4 incursions till the first week of November.

Incursions increase in August and September This year BSF has recorded higher incursions in Rajasthan and Gujarat border in August and September.

BSF officials said that till the first week of November this year, Pakistan tried to infiltrate into India 11 times through the borders of Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan and Gujarat. This year, the maximum number of infiltration incidents from Jammu and Punjab borders has been recorded. The remaining 3 cases have been reported from Gujarat and Rajasthan.

In November, a 150-meter-long underground tunnel used for infiltration by militants was detected near the international border in Samba, Jammu and Kashmir, officials said. Officials said the tunnel was detected in a joint operation by BSF and Jammu and Kashmir Police.
