09130 Kashi-Kevadia Mahamana, the first train to run to Gujarat’s Statue of Unity Kevadia, will be flagged off from Cantt station at 11.20 am Sunday by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
This weekly train running from Varanasi to Kevadia will be full of passengers on the day of launch. Seats in twos, sleepers and air-conditioned coaches are full. Regarding the inaugural run, Divisional Railway Manager of Northern Railway Sanjay Tripathi inspected the Cantt railway station and tested the preparations.
The train will be dispatched from near the newly constructed building from platform number 1. For this, a screen display has been made on the platform itself. Railway officials also tested this on Saturday. At the same time, RPF and GRP have been specifically directed about the security system.
DRM Lucknow Sanjay Tripathi said that the train has a new rack. LHB coaches have been installed. The journey of passengers will be comfortable and convenient in this. All preparations are complete. DRM along with ADRM Ravi Prakash Chaturvedi and Station Director Anand Mohan inspected the platforms and passenger hall.
This rack of 20 coaches also has cookware facilities. However, under the Covid guide line, only packed food will be provided to passengers in the train. Food will not be able to be cooked.
Take blankets, sheets from home
Blankets, sheets and pillows, towels are not being given to passengers due to corona in trains. In this train too, passengers will have to travel with a blanket and a sheet from home. According to railway officials, the passengers will be made to follow the Covid rules. No one will be allowed to access the platform without a mask.
