New Delhi: Several areas of NCR, including the national capital Delhi, received light rain this morning, due to which cold has increased.
In Delhi, Safdarjung recorded a temperature of 7.0 degrees Celsius at 8.30 am. The entire North India is getting cold and this area has been hit by cold wave, it has affected the normal life.
According to the Meteorological Department, Rewari, Bhiwadi, Manesar, Gurugram, Farukhnagar, Sonipat, Gannaur, Dag, Mathura, Hathras, Bharatpur, Hansi, Tosham, Jind, Safidon, Panipat, Karnal, Shamli, Kaithal, Narwana, Narayanpur, adjoining Delhi And in Narnaul it may rain with lightning.
The Meteorological Department said that there was heavy fog in many areas of Punjab, Haryana and western Uttar Pradesh this morning. Apart from this, fog was observed in many areas of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Bihar. According to the IMD, visibility was measured 25 meters in Amritsar, Bareilly, Patiala and Ambala while 50 meters in Gaya and Karnal and less than 200 meters in Ganganagar, Hisar, Aligarh and Gwalior.
