During his tenure, Ratan Tata brought Tata Consultancy Services to the public in 2004. He also designed and launched the world’s cheapest car Nano in 2008.

His life is full of struggles, from which everyone can take inspiration. At the same time, Ratan Tata wanted to become an architect, but there were many such changes in life that Ratan Tata became a successful businessman.

Ratan Tata started his business career in 1962 with the Tata group. After this, he steadily climbed the ladder of his company and joined the successful businessmen of the world.

Ratan Tata became the fifth chairman of the Tata group in 1991 after JRD Tata. The group acquired VSNL, which was at one time India’s top international telecommunications service provider.

During his tenure, Ratan Tata brought Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) to the public in 2004. He also designed and launched the world’s cheapest car Nano in 2008. Under his leadership, the Tata group gained recognition on the global stage when they acquired Anglo-Dutch steelmaker Corus and British luxury car brands Jaguar and Land Rover and British tea company Tetley.

Great investor

At the same time Ratan Tata is also known as a brilliant investor. He has invested in many start-ups in his early stages, which have now become long-race horses. On behalf of Ratan Tata has also invested in successful startups like Ola, Paytm, CarDekho, Curefit, Snapdeal.

Never married

At the same time, Ratan Tata never married. Apart from this, his parents were also divorced, due to which Ratan Tata lived with his grandmother. According to Ratan Tata, he often had differences with his father. Ratan Tata wanted to learn violin but father wanted him to learn piano. Ratan Tata wanted to go to America but his father wanted him to go to Britain. At the same time Ratan wanted to become a Tata architect but his father wanted him to become an engineer.
