Supreme court refuses to ban Love jihad law at present, SC will conduct constitutional inquiry

New Delhi: Very big news has come about Love Jihad laws. The Supreme Court has not yet stopped the controversial laws made in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand against Love Jihad, but will examine the constitutionality of these laws.

The Supreme Court has issued notices to the governments of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand and their favor has been sought on this. The Supreme Court has issued notices to UP and Uttarakhand on Love Jihad and the Anti-Unlawful Anti-conversion Act and sought an answer in 4 weeks. In the petitions, the law of both the states has been said to violate the right to life and religious freedom respectfully.
