TCS, becomes second company with market valuation of Rs 12 lakh crore

TCS is the second company after Reliance Industries to cross the market valuation of Rs 12 lakh crore. In this way it has become the second largest company of the country.

After a tremendous rally in shares of TCS on Thursday, it became a Rs 12 lakh crore company. TCS is the second company after Reliance Industries to cross the market valuation of Rs 12 lakh crore.

On Thursday, TCS shares were the top gainers on the BSE. Its shares rose 3.42 percent on this day and its shares reached 3,267. After the rally in shares in the company, its market value increased to Rs 12.19 lakh crore.

TCS became the second largest company in the country

TCS is the second company after Reliance Industries to cross the market valuation of Rs 12 lakh crore. In this way it has become the second largest company of the country. Reliance Industries is currently the largest company in the country by market value. Its market valuation has increased to Rs 12.42 lakh crore.

Best profit in December quarter

TCS ‘profit in the December quarter increased by 7.2 per cent over the previous quarter, during which the company’s profit was Rs 8701 crore. It was Rs 8118 crore in its previous quarter.

The company’s revenue also increased 4.7 to Rs 42015 crore in the December quarter. It stood at Rs 40,135 crore in the previous quarter. The company has projected income growth for 2021-22 in double digits.

Due to the strong quarterly figures, TCS shares rose 3 per cent on the BSE to a new record of Rs 3224 on Thursday. On the NSE too, it had jumped 3.5 percent to reach the all-time high level of Rs 3230.
