This process of dry run is being done so that there is no shortage of corona vaccine. This process is discussed in detail here.
These four states are Punjab, Assam, Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat. This dry run will be done at five places in two districts of these four states.
There will be five separate sessions in two districts of these four states. This includes district hospitals, CHC / PHC, urban sites, private healthcare facilities and rural outreach.
It will also include cold storage and transportation system for Covid-19 vaccine, crowd management at test session sites and social distance. Also, if there is an adverse effect of vaccination then it is necessary to see the management of any possible adverse events.
During this time, to check the operational feeability of Co-WIN specially made for giving vaccine, in field planning, implementation is also included. This will be a mock drill of sorts.
First of all, 25 dummy beneficiaries (health care workers) will come to this site in two hours.
After this, the first vaccination officer will match the beneficiaries name to the list.
The second vaccination officer will verify it through the Co-WIN app.
After this, the vaccination officer will give dummy vaccination.
The Vaccination Officer will then report the vaccination to the Co Win app.
The third and fourth vaccination officers will manage crowd management, support IPC (Inter Process Communication) messaging, and Vaccinator.
Beneficiary will wait 30 minutes after vaccination.
If any adverse event occurs after the vaccine is applied, it will be reported on the Co-Win app from the session site. It will be seen how the reaction will be. This whole dry run process is being done so that there is no shortage of vaccines when the vaccine starts.
