In all 80 thousand villages of the state, there is a plan to conduct a drone survey in two years and make rural residential rights records available to the gharoli villagers.
Lucknow: Survey of India, the country’s oldest scientific institute in Uttar Pradesh, is making digital maps of villages with the help of drones for the first time. Through the digital map, rural residential rights records (gharani) will be prepared in about 82 thousand villages of the state. Through the house, villagers will be able to get records of every village and every house built in the village.
In seven districts of Bundelkhand, survey work is being done to prepare a digital map with the help of drones. A target has been set to complete this work being done under the supervision of the Revenue Council.
According to the revenue department officials, under the ownership scheme started by the central government, survey work is being done through about 45 drones in villages of all the seven districts of Bundelkhand.
In the survey, after the drone and Patwari survey, the map will be prepared, the name of the owner along with the village house and Khasra number will also be written. Based on this map, the Rural Resident Rights Record (Gharoni) will be prepared.
There is no strong record of the houses built in the villages.
The revenue department had the details of agricultural land in Khatauni but there was no map and house number of the houses built in the villages.
Under this scheme of the Center, after surveying the drones in 575 villages in the state, houses of about eight thousand villages have been prepared and given to the villagers. Currently, the survey work is being done rapidly in drone in Bundelkhand.
Officials say that the target is to complete the survey work in Bundelkhand before April 24. There is a plan to distribute gharuni to the villagers through the hands of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
In all the 80 thousand villages of the state, in two years, there is a plan to provide rural residential rights records i.e. Gharauli villagers by surveying drones.

Jhansi District Magistrate Andra Vamsi said that unique ID of villages is generated through Gharauni. There will also be gradation of houses. This will reduce controversy. Gharuni is like Khatouni. This will reduce illegal possession. There will be many benefits from this. All records will be online. In Jhansi, about 3200 houses have been distributed.
