Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar dismissed the political speculation started after CPI leader Kanhaiya Kumar’s recent meeting with his aide. He said that there was no political talk during the meeting.
On the question asked by reporters on Wednesday at JDU’s state headquarters on the meeting between LJP MP Chandan Kumar Singh and the Chief Minister on Sunday evening and after Kanhaiya’s meeting with Bihar Minister Ashok Chaudhary, Nitish said, “You know That I have responsibility for the post of Chief Minister, in such a situation, any party, be it MLA, Councilor or MP can be met. We give time to those who come to meet. He had come to talk about his region and there was nothing to say about it. Kanhaiya has also met us before and in addition to his party MLAs, he has also met us. We can meet whoever we are but nothing special. There is no political talk in it.

On a question about reservation, Nitish said, “Those who have got the benefit of reservation should not get it. There is no such thing. The rule of reservation is already in force at the state and center level. Provision has been made for not only the Scheduled Castes, Tribes and Backward Classes but also for the people on economic grounds. According to me there is nothing like that. ”He reiterated once again that caste census should be done in the country.
